Canada is renowned for its friendly people, spectacular wilderness, wildlife and snow laden mountains. Western Canada's provinces of British Columbia and Alberta offer skiing and boarding for every level of skier/rider and every level of holiday experience, be it a five star resort or a raw locals resort for the hard core individuals.
Further north than the vast majority of the USA resorts, Canada offers the champagne powder North America is famous for and dumps it at much lower altitudes. Being able to ski some of the world's best snow conditions at elevations of around 6000 and 7000 feet, sees the vast majority of altitude complaints a non-issue, they just never occur.
